Voluntary Sector Training Workshop
Understanding and Working with Self Injury
Thursday 1st March 2012, 1.30 to 5pm, Guildford
Cost: £50 per attendee
VASWS is pleased to host this high-quality workshop from
Grassroots Training, a leading provider in the field.
Areas addressed in the workshop include:attitudes and preconceptions toward self-harm and injury the dynamics, meaning and functions of self injury causes and triggers cycles of harm helpful and unhelpful responses to people who self injure alternative coping strategies
The workshop is informal in style and includes an experiential
exercise, pair work and whole group discussion.
