Do you need to ensure the safety of the children and vulnerable adults that you work with? Does your group need CRB checks? Do you need assistance with the process? Then VASWS can help.

We are a registered umbrella body with the Criminal Records Bureau and offer a comprehensive CRB checking service to not-for-profit organisations working in South West Surrey. We can offer advice on whether your organisation needs CRB checks and what level of checks are required. We can also offer support and training on the process, and assistance in completing the CRB forms.

We charge only a small administration fee to cover the cost of processing the forms and the support given. Costs include CRB charges plus our administrative fees; the price for an enhanced check is £7.50 for volunteers and £54 for paid workers. This is one of the cheapest services available in Surrey.
